I am thankful for organization. Okay, so I could definitely use more organization in my life, but I am very thankful for it anyway!
I am thankful that there are people with the knack to organize and that they take the time to share their tips and discoveries with the public. People with the organizational mindset are the reason we have some wonderful organization devices and options available now.
I love that our refrigerators are organized into sections for lunchmeat, fresh veggies, and fruit and there is a place to put drinks as well, someone with a mind for organization thought of that.
When things are properly organized they are better taken care of, easy to access and use, and time is saved because you know immediately where the item you seek is.
I’m thankful for things like page numbers in books because otherwise it would be harder to find where you are if your bookmark falls out. It would also be hard to tell how many pages there were unless you sat and counted them.
I am thankful for “to do” lists because they keep me moving forward and at the end of a hard day when I feel like I haven’t accomplished all that much, I can look at my “to do” list and see that I have made some progress after all – an person with a mind for organization probably came up with that idea too.
I have found out many useful tips from my friends with organizational type blogs. The other day I learned to fold sheets in a very nice and professional way, even the bottom sheet which used to wind up looking rather lumpy and odd looking in the linen cabinet.
I learned from my mom how a garden should be laid out – though I am not in a place to garden at present, someday soon I hope to be.
Organization touches our lives every day in so many ways it would be impossible to name them all. Take a moment to be thankful that we don’t live in a world of complete chaos because we have people with organized minds.
